We offer Natural Horsemanship Training. Specializing in American Quarter horses we start many colts through techniques used by Ray Hunt and Bill Dorrance.
Techniques used, teach the horse to respect the handler using a trust based relationship. These methods of training use no pain/abusive tactics. A horse that is relaxed and comfortable with the situation not only listens to the handler, but learns to give to pressure. This giving to pressure builds a firm relationship among the trainer and animal. Horses are curious animals and have learned to do two things when confronted with something new. The first is going and inspecting the confrontation, the second is to run away. A horse that trusts its handler looks forward to discovering and learning new things.
